Bruce is a wonderful friend who goes to Gerringong church but teaches Scripture for us at Jamberoo. He is a retired ABC technician whose signalling systems on his layout work, and are controlled from a converted PABX, designed by Bruce. We were privileged to spend an evening at his layout.

Taken between Seven Hills and Toongabbie on 29 October 1991, these images capture the last days of single-deck trains in Sydney.

I was joined in the morning by Howard Armstrong, a railway modeller. I was on the way to university and returned in the afternoon to capture the rest of the images.

Sometime around October 1991 the Clark Rubber store in West Ryde burnt down.

I was playing around with black and white stock back then so I took these photos.

Given that Michelle and I are building T-Trak modules portraying urban scenes I thought they'd be worth uploading.

2000 was not a good year for rail photography. I had just started Bible College and was transitioning through the era of technological change... I'd given up slide photography 18 months before. I was trying to take negatives and have them digitised. This album is a collection of home-scanned photographs, not the best. One day I'll scan the negatives on my neg scanner and will (hopefully) get a better result.
