During our first week in Lithgow, Will from church drove me around town recommending the eating houses. This pizza place was top of the list. Today, Michelle craved pizza so we went there and got more than we bargained for... the man behind the pizza is a priest.
I was dressed in my suit and the bloke asked me if we were visiting town. Michelle told him we were new in town and he asked if I was a solicitor. No, the Anglican minister. "I'm a Priest from the Riverina Diocese". Michelle's and my lunch date morphed into a marvellous conversation with Rev Brian White, converted in the 1969 Billy GrahamĀ crusage, trained at St Barnabas' College in Adelaide, and a fellow believer, if not an evangelical. We prayed together and, I hope, built some bridges despite our different churchmanship. I look forward to building a friendship with him.
