In my short time at Lithgow I have noticed that there are a lot of inexpensive LED style simple signs, like "open" or "keys cut" etc. It really looks like someone bought a stack off ebay from China and walked the 2.48km length of Main St to sell off the signs... and a lot of people bought them!
They do, in fact, look quite nice and appropriate. It's just interesting that they all look so similar! Even the 'specialty' signs like the florist, bakery and locksmith still show their family resemblance.
All the signs I have found except for the Thai Restaurant on the corner of Main and James St are photographed above.
