I'm a strong believer in free markets and the power of market forces. But I'm not a total free marketer, in fact protections for the little guy must be in place. It is behoven on society to care for the poor and the needy.
So today I received in the mail an offer to buy my shared in NIB. I received them because I've been part of nib for nearly 20 years and when they demutualised, well, this was a benefit.
Anyways, this crowd are not breaking the law and are operating in a free-market environment. But they are ripping off anyone gullible enough to see a quick buck from their shares: it looks "official" enough and may catch some people out: I know of this legal scam because many others have been caught out. They are offering $0.55 per share instead of yesterday's high of $1.28 and today's average of $1.25. Trash any letters you get like this.
