PS 6 March 16:07: My man got off, thankfully!

What happened can happen to anyone. What happened to my guy was a
nightmare.
My friend and parishioner was arrested and charged last week for a
crime that a few years ago was not a crime. An overreaction to a
highly charged situation by a man in fragile health.
So I immediately cleared today's diary to be in court with him.
The solicitor reckons we'll clear his name-and save his job.
But at morning tea, when they clear the courthouse, my guy's heart
gave out. Literally.
The ambulance took him to hospital where he is in special care while
the solicitor asked me to stay to be an advocate.
Lunch time came and went so I took the opportunity to visit hospital
and reassure my guy that the prosecutor will be helpful and cooperative.
But right now the juvenile and custody hearings are on. No entry to
the court room.
Waiting, waiting, waiting.
The legal aid solicitor has been wonderful. The sherrifs and other
court officials are helpful. The ambos were great.
But I am bored silly!
