Happy Birthday Mummy!
It's mummy's birthday today.
I showed her how much I cared by being a pain in the neck and crying all day.
And I gave her some pants, a track suit, a winter outfit for church, some collared tees, and daddy gave her a slinky nightie. We paid for it all on his credit card. he he he.
Love Zoë.

I smile and the washing machine was fixed today
Hi there,
Well lots has been happening in my little life. Can you believe that I'm 8 weeks old already?
Guess what? I've learned how to smile and coo and laugh when mummy and daddy talk to me and read me stories from the Big Picture Bible. That's really fun.
But I nearly ran out of clean things because I still mess everywhere, and the washing machine broke. It cost daddy $154 to replace a solenoid valve. Ain't cheap - but was repaired fast!
That's all for now. I'll update soon with some piccies!
Love, Zoë

I went to big school today!
Daddy teaches scripture at two primary schools as part of his job, and mummy used to as well. But since she had me, she 'retired'.
However, a big gap at one school opened up, so mummy asked "Aunty Shirley" from church to mind me every Wednesday so she could teach her old 3/4 class at Shell Cove. Also, the teacher from daddy's year 5/6 class at Shell Cove made them promise last year to bring me in once I was born.
So today, Aunty Shirley minded me while they taught scripture. Then they picked me up from Aunty Shirley's and took me to school. Ms Burke got all of 5/6 to sit in a big circle and she showed me around. I was so excited! Ms Burke said that after 27 years of teaching, she could pick a thing or two about babies, and she reckons I'm very bright and will be a good learner when I really get to school. Daddy said he knew that already, but every bub I meet tells me that their parents think each of us is very smart, so I take it all with a grain of salt...
We then went up to the office and met Mr Clarke, the principal. He was very excited too.
The staff at Shell Cove gave mummy a lovely card. It's a lovely school! Pity we won't be living around here when I go to big school, because Shell Cove and Shellharbour are both fantastic schools.
See you.
Zoë
